Application Range

Thanks to its ultra-high weather resistance and brilliant colors, porcelain-coated aluminum panel is widely used for exterior building cladding. Due to its flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, cavitation resistance, pollution resistance, non-stick property, hygiene, and its ability to shield electromagnetic waves from household appliances, it is commonly used in kitchen equipment, utensils, kitchen decoration panels and heating device panels. It can also serve as decorative panel material for various pipelines, highway facilities (guardrails, signal lights, signs, etc.), industrial equipment, seaport and wharf facilities, and the interiors of public transportation vehicles (buses, subways, aircraft, ships, etc.).

Product Features

1. Pollution resistance: porcelain-coated aluminum panel possesses the water-repellency of ceramics and corrosion resistance to various chemical solvents.

2. Excellent cost-effectiveness: it is easy to clean and recover, saving maintenance costs. Organic coatings based on fluorocarbon paint expand in the heat of the day, causing peeling and cracking of the film. At night when temperatures drop, the cracks shrink, allowing dust and microscopic contaminants to penetrate and adhere. Such contamination makes recovery almost impossible, greatly affecting the building’s appearance and value. Ceramic coatings, which only react below -50°C and above 1700°C, prevent peeling, expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes, so even adhered contamination can be easily washed off - in effect, every rainfall produces a cleaning effect.

3. High weather resistance: the film of ceramic panels composed of inorganic solvents and inorganic pigments is barely affected by UV rays because the energy of its Si-O ionic bond exceeds that of UV light. This superior UV resistance enables porcelain-coated aluminum panels to maintain color and gloss better than ordinary coatings.

4. Stable structure: just as rock or ceramic ware remains unchanged over long periods, the three-dimensional network structure formed by the pure inorganic resin and inorganic pigments of the porcelain coating offers unique structural stability, extending building life under external environments such as UV, acid rain, wind and heat radiation.

5. Environmental friendliness: compared with the chemical detergents used in the pretreatment of organic coatings, porcelain-coated aluminum panels use sandblasting in pretreatment, and the porcelain coating uses water as a dispersant, avoiding air pollution from volatile organic compounds during spraying. Therefore, compared with traditional decorative panels, porcelain-coated aluminum panel is a highly environmentally friendly new decorative material.

6. Excellent heat resistance: the porcelain coating, composed of inorganic coating and inorganic pigments, achieves A1-class fire performance, so no toxic gases are released when exposed to fire.
