Aluminum Panel: installation method for aluminum honeycomb panel ceilings

The installation process mainly includes measurement, layout and positioning, installing connectors and hanger angle steel, installing main runners, installing secondary runners, installing honeycomb panel matching runners, installing honeycomb panels, and cleanup. Details are as follows:

1. Snap lines. Horizontal lines should be snapped along the perimeter of the ceiling according to the floor height, the center point of the room should be located, and the runner installation position lines should be marked on the wall.

2. Install main runner hangers. After the horizontal lines and runner lines are snapped, use expansion bolts to fix the hangers to the ceiling.

3. Install the main runners. After fixing the hangers, install the main runners, which are generally made of light-gauge steel runners with a spacing of about 1200 mm. Pay attention to the connections between hangers during installation.

4. Install edge runners. After installing the main runners, install the edge runners, fixing the painted runners around the walls with concrete nails, keeping the spacing between concrete nails no more than 300 mm.

5. Install secondary runners. According to the specifications of the aluminum panels, install the matching secondary runners, which are suspended from the main runners with hangers, paying attention to the connections between connectors.

6. Install honeycomb panel matching runners and honeycomb panels. The panel matching runners consist of angle steel hangers (L50 x 5) and honeycomb panel matching runners (L40 x 4). The angle steel hangers are spaced at 1000 mm and connected to the secondary runners with M12 x 50 bolts. The honeycomb panel matching runners are then connected to the angle steel hangers with bolts, and the levelness of the runners is adjusted through slotted holes, with levelness controlled within 4 mm. When installing the aluminum panels, draw a reference line perpendicular to the secondary runners at the center position, align and install, taking care to handle gently.

7. After panel installation is complete, clean the site and wipe the panels clean.
